3. Information About Courses and Universities

We aim to keep information about universities, courses and study opportunities accurate and useful.

However, information may change without notice.

Universities and other education providers may change:

You should confirm important information with Study Consulting and, where appropriate, with the relevant education provider before making a final decision.

4. Universities and Education Providers

The inclusion of a university, college, course or education provider on this website does not automatically mean that Study Consulting has a direct recruitment agreement or formal partnership with that institution.

Some opportunities may be available through authorised third-party recruitment or referral arrangements.

Where appropriate, we will explain the relevant application route to prospective students.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to an institution should not be interpreted as a claim of sponsorship, endorsement or formal partnership.

5. No Guarantee of Admission

Study Consulting can provide guidance and application support, but we cannot guarantee that an applicant will:

  • receive an offer;
  • receive an unconditional offer;
  • be admitted to a particular course or university;
  • meet entry requirements;
  • receive a place for a particular intake;
  • receive funding;
  • obtain a visa or immigration permission;
  • successfully complete a programme.

Admissions decisions are made by the relevant university or education provider.

Applicants remain responsible for ensuring that information and documents supplied as part of an application are complete, accurate and genuine.

6. Student Finance and Funding Information

Our website or team may provide general guidance relating to tuition fees, student funding or Student Finance England.

Such information is provided for general guidance only.

Eligibility and funding decisions are determined by the relevant funding authority and depend on individual circumstances.

Study Consulting cannot guarantee eligibility for Student Finance England or any other form of funding.

Students should verify their eligibility with the relevant organisation.

7. Immigration and Visa Information

Where our website refers to visas, immigration requirements or international study arrangements, this information is for general informational purposes only.

Study Consulting does not provide regulated immigration advice unless expressly authorised to do so.

Immigration rules can change and individual circumstances vary.

Students requiring immigration advice should obtain information from official UK government sources or an appropriately authorised immigration adviser.

8. Your Responsibilities

When using our website or communicating with Study Consulting, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information.

You must not:

  • provide false or misleading information;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the website;
  • introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
  • use the website for unlawful purposes;
  • copy or exploit website content without permission;

Where you choose to provide information or documents to Study Consulting, you are responsible for ensuring that they are accurate and authentic.

This may include:

  • identification documents;
  • academic qualifications;
  • certificates;
  • transcripts;
  • employment information;
  • references;
  • application information;
  • other supporting documents.

Providing false information or fraudulent documents may result in an application being rejected or withdrawn and may have other consequences imposed by the relevant institution or authority.

10. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available and operating correctly.

However, we do not guarantee that the website will:

  • always be available;
  • operate without interruption;
  • be completely free from errors;
  • be compatible with every device or browser.

We may temporarily suspend, restrict or change parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website is owned by, licensed to or lawfully used by Study Consulting LTD.

This may include:

  • text;
  • graphics;
  • branding;
  • logos;
  • website design;
  • photographs;
  • videos;
  • downloadable materials;
  • original written content.

You may view and use the website for personal and non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or substantially modify our content without appropriate permission.

Third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Links to Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to websites operated by other organisations.

These may include:

  • universities and colleges;
  • education providers;
  • government services;
  • Facebook;
  • Instagram;
  • TikTok;
  • LinkedIn;
  • WhatsApp;
  • other relevant external services.

These websites are controlled by third parties.

Study Consulting does not control their content, availability, security, privacy practices or terms of use.

The presence of a link does not necessarily mean that Study Consulting endorses everything provided by that third party.

Users should review the relevant third party’s own terms and privacy information before using its services.

Similar principles are used in UK government website terms for links to independently operated external websites.

13. Social Media

Study Consulting may maintain business profiles on platforms including:

Facebook
Instagram
TikTok
LinkedIn

We may also communicate with prospective students through WhatsApp.

When you use these platforms, your use is also subject to the relevant platform’s own terms, privacy policies and technical practices.

Study Consulting does not control how those platforms independently process information.

Information posted publicly on social media should not be used to send sensitive personal or application information.

Where possible, sensitive documents should be provided through an appropriate communication or application channel advised by our team.

14. WordPress and Website Technology

Our website is built using WordPress and may use WordPress-related themes, plugins and technical services to provide website functionality.

These technologies may support functions such as:

  • page display;
  • security;
  • contact forms;
  • website administration;
  • cookie management;
  • website performance.
  • live-chat and AI-assisted support;

Further information about personal information and cookies used through our website is provided in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

15. WhatsApp Communications

If you choose to communicate with Study Consulting using WhatsApp, your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy arrangements.

Please avoid sending highly sensitive personal information through WhatsApp unless our team has specifically requested it and the communication method is appropriate for the purpose.

Where necessary, we may ask you to provide documents using another method.

16. Live Chat and AI Assistant

Study Consulting may provide live-chat support through this website, including an AI Student Guidance Assistant.

Our AI assistant, currently presented as Daniel, is an artificial intelligence service and is not a human employee, university representative, admissions officer, financial adviser, immigration adviser or representative of Student Finance England.

The AI assistant is provided to help users understand general information about Study Consulting services, UK higher education, study options, applications, admissions processes, Student Finance information where relevant and possible next steps.

Although we take reasonable steps to configure the AI assistant using approved Study Consulting information, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or unsuitable for an individual user’s circumstances.

Users should therefore not rely solely on an AI-generated response when making important decisions.

In particular, the AI assistant does not:

  • guarantee admission to a university or education provider;
  • guarantee an offer, interview, enrolment or course place;
  • guarantee Student Finance eligibility, entitlement or approval;
  • guarantee visa or immigration outcomes;
  • determine course availability;
  • determine tuition fees, entry requirements or start dates; or
  • make decisions on behalf of universities, education providers, funding authorities or other external organisations.

University admissions decisions, course requirements, availability, fees and start dates are determined by the relevant university or education provider.

Student Finance decisions are made by the relevant funding authority.

Study Consulting does not provide regulated immigration or legal advice through its AI assistant. Users requiring immigration or legal advice should refer to official sources or an appropriately authorised adviser.

The inclusion of a university, education provider or course in an AI-generated response does not by itself mean that Study Consulting has a direct partnership, contractual relationship or formal representation arrangement with that organisation.

Where the AI assistant cannot confidently answer a question, it may direct the user to a member of the Study Consulting team or another appropriate source.

Users should not provide passwords, payment-card information, online banking details, National Insurance numbers, passport copies, immigration documents or other unnecessary sensitive personal information through live chat.

Our live-chat and AI functionality is provided using third-party technology, currently including tawk.to. The processing of personal information submitted through live chat is explained in our Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies or similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.

17. Privacy and Personal Information

Our use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

This includes personal information submitted through our website forms, live-chat service and AI-assisted communications.

The Privacy Policy explains matters including:

  • what information we may collect;
  • how we use it;
  • who we may share it with;
  • how long we may keep it;
  • your data protection rights.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained separately in our Cookie Policy.

ICO guidance emphasises that organisations should clearly explain why they process personal information, how long it is retained and who it may be shared with.

18. Website Security

You must not knowingly introduce:

  • viruses;
  • ransomware;
  • spyware;
  • malicious code;
  • harmful scripts;
  • other technically damaging material.

You must not attempt to obtain unauthorised access to:

  • our website;
  • hosting environment;
  • administrative systems;
  • databases;
  • accounts;
  • servers connected with the website.

We may take appropriate technical or legal action in response to suspected misuse.

19. Accuracy of Website Information

We take reasonable care when preparing information published on our website.

However, higher education information can change frequently.

We therefore recommend checking important information before relying on it, particularly:

  • admission requirements;
  • course availability;
  • tuition fees;
  • intake dates;
  • application deadlines;
  • funding arrangements;
  • university policies.

If you notice information that appears inaccurate or outdated, please contact us.

20. Our Responsibility to You

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Where Study Consulting provides services to consumers, applicable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

UK consumer law requires services to be provided with reasonable care and skill, and consumer contract terms must be fair and transparent.

Subject to those rights and applicable law, Study Consulting is not responsible for decisions made independently by:

  • universities;
  • colleges;
  • funding organisations;
  • government bodies;
  • immigration authorities;
  • third-party service providers;
  • social media platforms.
21. External Decisions

Study Consulting cannot control decisions made by external organisations.

We are therefore not responsible for an external organisation’s decision to:

  • reject an application;
  • change a course;
  • cancel an intake;
  • alter fees;
  • change entry requirements;
  • change admission deadlines;
  • refuse funding;
  • change eligibility requirements.

Where possible, we will help students understand the next steps available to them.

22. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Website Terms removes or reduces any rights that you may have under applicable consumer law.

If Study Consulting enters into a paid agreement with a consumer, additional terms may apply to that specific service.

Those terms should explain matters such as:

  • the service being provided;
  • any applicable fee;
  • payment arrangements;
  • cancellation rights;
  • termination;
  • refunds where applicable.

UK consumer terms must be written clearly and cannot unfairly restrict statutory rights.

23. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with a service provided by Study Consulting, please contact us so that we can review the issue.

Our separate Complaints Policy explains:

  • how to submit a complaint;
  • what information to provide;
  • how we review complaints;
  • our internal review process.

You can contact us at:

complaints@study-consulting.co.uk

We may also change:

  • website functionality;
  • course information;
  • application information;
  • external links;
  • policies.

We do not guarantee that previously published information will remain available indefinitely.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Website Terms from time to time.

Changes may be made because of:

  • changes to our services;
  • changes to website functionality;
  • changes to technology;
  • regulatory developments;
  • changes in applicable law.

The latest version will be published on this page.

The date at the top of the page indicates when these Terms were last updated.

26. Governing Law

These Website Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory rights available to you under the laws applicable where you live.
